Though the accordion and concertina might look similar at first glance, they have many differences.
The accordion is a large, robust instrument known for its iconic look and versatile sound. It features a piano-style keyboard on one side and buttons on the other, played by squeezing and expanding the bellows.
The concertina is a small, portable instrument with a unique charm, easily recognized by its hexagonal or octagonal shape. Unlike the accordion, concertinas come in different systems like English, Anglo, and Duet, each offering distinct layouts and sounds. It produces music by pressing buttons on both ends, which activate reeds to create specific pitches.

The accordion version of "We Are Young" by Fun offers a unique twist on the original pop-rock hit. Typically, accordion versions of songs like this bring out a more folk or indie vibe, blending the song's catchy melodies with the rich, expressive sound of the accordion. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifHRDBx-ctw

www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOhD-VGIt_8 Wow, Jethro Tull’s live performance of ‘Skating Away’ from Sight And Sound in 1977 is incredible! The energy and musicianship are top-notch, and Ian Anderson's flute work really shines. Such a classic moment in live music history!

It's fascinating how Chopin's Prélude Op. 28, No. 4 resonates with such depth and emotion. The piece's connection to Chopin's own funeral and its evocative title, potentially linked to "What tears from the depths of the damp monastery?" www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W03Plgbo28&t=6s
