Hello, everybody! Thanks to the lovelies over at Project Rise, this forum was created for all Rise fans to unite as one. Regardless of who you are, anyone can be an RA fan. So, in this, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Peyton! I participated in Project Rise (recieving a line in Survive, which was "And total fucking wreck" and also earning a part in "Thank you, Rise Against".) I've listened to Rise for nearly a year now. I have yet to see them in concert, but I hope one day I will! The only other band I listen to is Linkin Park, whom I've listened to since 4th grade (I'm going to high school next year.) That about sums it up for me! I hope to make a few friends here  -Peyton |

Hey, I'm Ethan. I've loved Rise Against for about 4 or 5 years and listen to other bands such as Anti-Flag, Descendents, Bad Religion, Bullet for my Valentine and a bit of other stuff on the side. Rise Against inspired me to play bass, which I have been doing for about three years now so thanks Joe! (I've recently been learning guitar as well as I'm not allowed a drum kit  ). If I had to pick a favourite album, it would probably have to be The Sufferer and the Witness but I do really love all their stuff (particularly the early stuff going right up to The Unraveling as I'm a bit Punky \m/). So Hi to all the other fans! |

I go by Kyp, though some 'round here know me as James. I've been listening to Rise Against for six years. All my other music is punk and (mostly power) metal - Billy Talent, Naked Raygun, Hammerfall, Avantasia, Dead Kennedys, letlive., The Killing Tree, Minor Threat, and a bunch of others I'm just getting into.

Hello! I'm lexi from Austria! When I was 15 a friend sent me a youtube link of GIVE IT ALL Since then I've been a Rise Against fan, and never missed a concert in Austria! And I hope there will be many more shows to come! My dream is to visit a RA concert in the USA! But at the moment it's too expensive After 10 years it's still my favourite band, so I got myself a RA tattoo. I not only love them because of their great songs, but also because of their obligation regarding veganism, animal and human rights : D its rly a great character trait! |

I'm from Australia, am one of the Project Rise heads and have been listening to Rise Against for a little over two years now. I was introduced to them by my neighbour after hearing Satellite on the radio and falling in love with it. I've seen them once live, which was in December of last year.
I love a lot of different music and bands, with some of my favourites being: Slipknot, Shinedown, Apocalyptica, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Editors, FFDP, Muse, SOAD.
I can't wait to see this forum grow!

Hello everybody, my name is Julian, i´m from argentina (english is not my first language so excuse my likely mistakes), i´ve been listening to Rise Against for about 3 years now, I was introduced to them by a friend of mine who is a huge fan, sadly I´ve never seen them live and it´s unlikely that I will since they
don´t usually tour through my country but im trying to save some money and go to the US at some point so I can see them live.
Musically i´m kinda punky, i like the ramones, the clash, sex pistols and all that stuff, but im also a big foo fighters fan and a huge ska-p fan (probably haven´t heard of them, it´s a ska punk band from spain)
Oh, and i also play the drums

Hey everyone, I am Sjoerd. I am from the Netherlands and I've been listening to Rise Against for over 6/7 years now. I got into them via gaming and since then Rise Against has helped me overcome alot of diffeculties.
I have yet to see them live. Cant wait untill this finally happens.

Hey there! I'm Michael, and I hail from the US. I first got into Rise Against and some of my other favorite bands (My Chemical Romance, Green Day, blink 182, just to name a select few) from browsing the alt rock section on iTunes 5+ years ago. I've since gotten into hundreds of other artists. I've seen RA live once in Central Park (I was on vacation) on my birthday, which may be my favorite memory ever. My favorite RA song is "Make It Stop (September's Children)". I love Rise Against, I love Rise Against fans, and I love meeting new people, so say hi!

Im from israel, im 16 and im a Rise against fan for about 5 years. they changed my life and perspective the world and shaped me into the person i am today. i listen to other bands such as three days grace, evanesence, papa roach' linkin park, shinedown, nirvana, paramore, pearl jam, breaking benjamin and much more. in the video i was in survive "feet sometimes on"

Hello to everyone around the world. My name is Sara and I'm from Australia. I might probably be one of the older people on this forum being born in the same decade as the band members. Probably one of the oldest people if not the oldest who took part in Project Rise.
I grew up listening to many of the bands that I now see as a possible influence to the Rise Against we know today. Such as Pennywise, Bad Religion, Pegboy, Strung Out and Minor Threat just to name a few. It is not only the music of Rise Against I love but what their songs have to say and generally how down to earth they all seem to be. I am looking forward to listening to what other people have to say and share about Rise Against.

Hello Everyone! I'm Ryan from South Carolina in the USA. I was gifted "The Sufferer And The Witness" by a friend when i was in 8th grade, 9 long years ago, and to this day it remains my favorite of their albums. Ive seen RA live two times, the most recent time being on November 13th 2015. I also enjoy other bands, mainly Avenged Sevenfold and Bad Religion. Im an avid gamer and nerd. Im super exited to be a part of projectrise and i cant wait to see what the future holds!

Hi! I'm Jette from Germany. I've been listening Rise Against for a few years now and still can't get enough. You'll probably understand that. I mostly listen to Punk or Metal music i guess. I really like Pennywise, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Blink 182, Sum 41, NOFX and Papa Roach. Rise Against of course! I've been to two concerts and can't wait to see them a lot more. I just hope they come to my city again.

Heyo, I'm Joe!
I'm currently 15 and I've been listening to Rise for about, a year and a half. I actually discovered Rise Against through the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, and being a fan of bands like Bad Religion, The Descendants, and the sort, I really enjoyed the songs. I quickly got addicted and listened to the album that had the most songs I knew, Appeal to Reason. The ball just keep Rollin from there and when I heard all of Siren Song of the Counter-Culture album my mind was absolutely blown, and the same happened for every album (my favs are Sufferer and The Witness and RPM). RA is easily my favorite band, I own a hard copy of each album (even Long Forgotten Songs), and I'm so lucky to have seen them twice live in 2015.
Other bands I heavily enjoy are At The Drive-In, Bad Religion, The Story So Far, Rage Against The Machine, letlive., My Chemical Romance, and many more in the punk, pop-punk, metal, and post-hardcore genres.

I was one of the heads of the original Project Rise and was so happy to see how many people were interested in making this community flourish! I'm 15, I hail from the USA and I have been a fan of Rise since I was 9... I guess about 6 to 7 years ago. I've seen them seven times live (not trying to brag, this just seems to be a fact people have been stating about themselves...) and I see them everytime they are in my area. I can't wait to get to know all of you and hopefully make some friends! Rise on! |
